| There will be two tests during the semester and a non-comprehensive
final exam. They will consist of any combination of true/false and
multiple choice questions. They will cover all the material shown
on the schedule of classes with the emphasis being on what is covered in
class. They will primarily test your understanding of the material,
your ability to synthesize information, and your analytical ability, not
your ability to memorize! Using the Study Guide book and/or the
computerized tutorial is an excellent way to prepare for them. If you wish
to use a calculator, you must use the one I provide.
You are expected to take the tests and final exam as scheduled. You will receive a mark of zero for absence from either unless the absence is excused. You will be excused if written evidence is presented indicating that the absence was caused by illness, a death in the family, or participation in College activities at the request of the College. If you are ill, I must be notified prior to the test. All other absences except for a death must be approved at least one week prior to the date of the test. If you are excused to miss a test, a comprehensive makeup test must be taken on exam study day between the second test and the final exam. |
